Note that there is some content that may be disturbing for some viewers including photographs of deceased Civil War soldiers and victims of hate crimes, video of the original Confederate flags, offensive racial slurs read from primary source documents, and clips from the racist film, "The Birth of a Nation."

Their Juneteenth module is free, even if you don't have a BrainPOP account. Watch an animated movie, take a quiz, and fill out worksheets. Have students use the Make-a-Movie feature to submit an assignment using characters and icons from the module. Include vocabulary cards, graphic organizers, and more background readings.
